Travel: Going to Island of Rab

Hello everyone,

I wasn’t active this past week cause I was on vacation on Rab. It is a little peaceful island here in Croatia.

If you want to go somewhere to clear your head and think about nothing for a few days , read a book or few and just relax this is the place to go. This was my third year there and I will probably come back in future.

I went with my best friend Ines for 4 days and we had the time of our life just laying on the beach, reading books, taking a bunch of photos, enjoying the nature and going out at night.

If you are going to a place like this go with someone who brings you joy, who understand you, who you feel comfortable with and who will not get on your nerves and make some kind of unnecessary stress so you can truly relax and not think about anything.

 

BEACHES

I won’t lie. Not all beaches are pretty, some have shit in the sea but most of them are pretty. And the amazing part is that most of them are small so you don’t have to squeeze with other people and you have your own little peaceful space.

Also most of the beaches have amazing small stones so they are really comfortable to walk on and lay on.

 

FOOD

Food here is amazing and I know that from previous years. However this year we just ate pizza for 4 days straight and drank coffee and alcohol and we didn’t regret it at any point.

But if you don’t want to do that they have pretty good food with reasonable pricing and there are small restaurants round every corner and they all have menus on several languages. Waitresses are really kind and approachable and they will help you with anything.

 

PLACE WE STAYED IN

I didn’t take pictures of the place we stayed in cause I’m stupid and I forgot…yes, kill me..

We stayed in a pretty big room that is only 5 minute walk from the beach. It also had a balcony which is always nice. 

We were charged 96€ for 3 nights what is 16€ per night per person. If you ask me that is a pretty good deal if you consider we planned our vacation a week before going and it is also in middle of season so it was pretty hard to find a cheap place to stay but if we can do it so can you.

 

NIGHT OUTS 

Nights here are amazing and I can guarantee you will never fall a sleep before the sun comes out. Night is too beautiful to waist on sleeping.

People are walking by the sea, everywhere you turn are beautiful lights, music is playing, restaurants are full of beautiful people, everyone is talking and happy.

And also can we talk about motherfucking sunsets, they are so amazing and beautiful and breathtaking. The pictures can’t capture the beauty of them. It is just…i have no words…

Nights are pretty warm and really good to take a nice 40 minute walk to the center of island. If you have good company it really goes by so quickly. Also you can stop on your way to take amazing pictures.

 

PHOTOGRAPHY 

If you like photography and taking photos and if you have the ability to see beauty in everything this place is amazing. It is full of beautiful things that are waiting for someone to capture them. We took as many photos as we could but still at the same time enjoyed the beauty of island.

 

 

 

 

Sadly all vacations come to an end but you make amazing memories from them.

I am going on another vacation tomorrow. It’s 11 pm now. I still have to pack, wash my hair, download music, finish this post and a bunch of little things, but oh well it is what it is. I will sleep on the beach tomorrow.
